Since this little bloggity blog hasn't had any posts or time put into it for a long while I've decided that we will no longer be having a blog. Life happens at a really super fast pace and we sometimes get caught up in the world around us instead of our little neck of it. So, I decided that we will no longer be having a blog for public viewing. We will be just doing entries for us as a family so that I can print them for posterity. (basically a journal.) Thanks to all of you have taken a gander and gawk. Thanks for going through life with us. We love you lot's.

July....
Our month in a glimpse... why not carry on the tradition of a monthly post. Again, please excuse the lack of editing pictures... I'm just not in the mood to do much of that today.
Sassy cut 13 inches off of her hair at the end of June. I keep forgetting to post about it. So here is her hair cut the day she had it done. Her hair was super kinked because her hair was in braids.

I caught the boo man with his daddy taking a nap one day after church... They look a lot a like.

We took a little JAUNT up to Timpanogas Cave... We went on a day when it reach 100* what were we thinkin'. I have been working out for the last 8 weeks and it kicked my fanny. I thought my legs were going to fall off. My kids were real troopers though and they had a lot of fun.

We had a b.b. q. with my family and Grandma decided that she needed to spice things up a bit for the kids and took them for rides in our little car... and by this I mean run up and down the street as fast as she could with them. It was funny.
On the 24th we went to my Dad's for some swimming and a b.b.q. and I forgot my camera, but when we got home I took some pictures of the kids and hubs with the sparklers....

We also took a jaunt to Kenecott ... to see the Copper mine. It was a hot, crowded mess of people and I can now say that I've had that experience with our kids. They loved it though and that is what counts. They didn't want their picture taken at all. Sometimes they get enough of me taking 5 bazillion pictures of them so I get what I get and I can't throw a fit There was also not one bit of shade at that place. It was a stinkin' inferno pit of heat.... (Can you tell I want to go back tomorrow.) They didn't realize how big the big trucks really were until we told them that you can put a small house in one of them. They thought the big tire was just for show at first.
They also went to the days of 47 float parade with their daddy one evening because he was nice enough to let me have some time to myself. They love to go every year.

summer so far
I'm deciding that I like to give a post every couple of weeks now. Sorry not any more everyday's. My life is a little bit crazy right now. It's been nice to not blog everyday for a while. I'm liking this a lot better for now any way.
The full moon was really different a while back and I took a couple pictures. The last one I left my aperture open a long time and didn't have my camera on a tripod so it did the weird effects. It was such an eery, but cool feeling that night.
Our Dining Room finally has some decor.... Our family motto is really important. So I had my boss make it for me in vinyl and then I put it on a 16x20 frame. I went and took some pictures of the kids in the orchard in provo and had a print credit so I used it on 12x12 inch prints.
Sassy has been drawing the cutest little people lately. I am not an artist... So her interpretation of our family in chalk was really cute to me. I love it. I wish It could be on our family room wall.
The kids love the slip n slide and summer isn't official until we pull it out along with otter pops, fruit by the foot's and other goodies.
BooBoo has been listening to my mp3 player a lot. So one day I took a picture of it. He will sing stayin' alive like it's no body's business.... too funny!

Slumpity Slump Slump.....
I have obviously been in a blogging slump.... I don't know why.
So her are a few little snippet's of what's been going on in our lives.
So her are a few little snippet's of what's been going on in our lives.
-Hubs fractured his ankle. A bad sprain with a little tiny minuscule fracture. He's in a boot for 4-6 weeks.
-The kids had their school jogapalooza, and the last day of school a couple of weeks ago. I even ran a couple of laps with Gus. I don't know how this happens every year, but I somehow am the lucky mother who get's to do an autograph book for one of the kid's classes. This year it was Gusman's.

Boo-Boo graduated from preschool. We are so proud of little man.
-We had this really amazing thunder and rain storm unlike any I've seen in my life. I won't ever forget it. My kids and the neighbor kids and Hub's and I sat and watched it until it started to pour way too much.

My Sissy's house was under flood watch. The Little Cottonwood Creek was full and overflowing in many places. As a family we sandbagged and bricked a little bit to help their home be safe. It was amazing to see sooo many people out helping.

-I went to youth conference. RAIN, RAIN, RAIN and more rain. Lot's of spiritual moments and I made some really amazing new friends. I was on the food committee. It was a change from being with the girls. I was amazing to see how much work and effort goes into just feeding 500 people. Wow... I have no pictures of me, but I do of our girls.(Minus 2 that were able to go.) We were rained out and came home on Friday night, but it was still awesome. (one small little miracle for me was that my broken lens was able to work in manual mode good enough for me to shoot some pic's.)

Some Pictures

Life isn't always gorgeous and a little walk in the flowers.... Sometimes it's funny faces, messy houses, no money, trying to survive life and getting your kids to heaven and making the best of your life day by day. My husband and kids make life sooooo worth it.
