KeNnA GiRl-

McKenna Is a great little girl. I couldn't ask for a better daughter. I love that she is very funny. I love that she is very kind. I love that she is a great friend. I love that she is very very intelligent. I love that she can play as hard as any boy. She loves to rock climb and you can even catch climbing up the moulding around our doors sometimes. I love that she is a free spirit. I love that she does her own thing and doesn't care what others think. I love that she is very spiritual and does the right things for the right reason's. She is a blessing and a Joy. I think i'll LOVE HER FOREVER TOO!

HUNTER BoY!!!

So Hunter got mad that I didn't put a scrapbook page of him up for him yesterday. So here you go buddy. I love that you are all boy. I love that you like to get muddy and mucky. I love that you are my cuddle bug. I love your bear hugs. I love your spunkiness. I love that you are a hard worker at school and that your teacher tells me all the girls have crushes on you. I love that you can make good choices. I love that you use your imagination to play. I love that you are daring. I love that you learn how do to things quickly. I love that you pretend you aren't listening when we read scriptures and then when we ask questions about them you know the answer. I love YOU MY BIG BOY!!!

My Baby GOESSSSSSSS!

Easton is one of the most active toddler's I know. I think it's a sign when he doesn't take a nap and plays outside for two hours straight and then comes in to play for 2 more hours and sits on the couch after dinner and falls a sleep. If I had his energy I would get a lot more on my to do list done! I love how energetic he is. I love the spirit he has for life. I love his sense of adventure. I love that even though he throw's 1 hour temper tantrums that I get to be his mommy. I love that he hugs me tight and gives me slobbery kisses. I love that he talks so well. I love that you can see the glow of his little spirit in his eyes. I'll just

LOVE HIM FOREVER!!!

I know I know You've all read them......

So I kept telling every one that I wasn't going to read them..... I did last month all 3. I borrowed the first and read it in 4 hours and then had to wait a week to borrow the next and read it in another 4 hours. I bought the last one and read it in 5 hours. I didn't do anything after my kids went to bed on those nights, but these books you can't start and not finish in one sitting. I can't wait for the next. I'd recommend these books to any one. They are very easy reads too. If your a sucker for romance which I am and you love a good hero which I do then read them.......

McKenna and Her FIght For A Purse for her School Bag!!!(What?)

So McKenna came to me tonight after we woke up from our after church nap with this hairbrained idea that she was going to take this "so called bag to school" instead of her back pack. She loves the bag (My mother in law gave it to her for playing.) So do you think that she want's to grow up just a wee bit fast? After Chris and I told her no she was upset. She said that other girls in her class were taking them to school too. What are their parents thinking? They are in second grade for Pete's Sake. Not on my watch girl. She can be part of that little bit of clique'ness when she's a wee bit older don't ya think? (I guess it's her way of trying to be unique since she has to wear a uniform.)

Okay so this is my PARMESEAN CRUSTED CHICKEN RECIPE...

One package Spaghetti noodles or noodles of your choice.
One Bottle of Spaghetti Sauce of your choice. (home made or store baught.)

*Coat chicken breast's with shake and bake. bake at 400* for 45 minutes. After baking them for 35 minutes open oven and put parmesean cheese on top. Let melt during the last ten minutes of cooking. After taking out of oven let them sit for about 5 minutes. Place on top of cooked spaghetti noodles and sauce. Add mozerella cheese to taste.

It will all be okay...

So I was going through all of my e-mails and I came across one that Chris sent me a couple of weeks ago. It was a quote from President Hinkley. I really do think Heavenly Father is looking out for me because I really needed to read those words. I decided to put it on the side of our blog so I could see it daily. I really feel blessed today.

Feelin' A Little Movement!!

So this morning I got up with sissy and came downstairs and looked at the clock and it was 7:14 am. I layed down at my favorite spot on the floor over a heater vent and had just gotten comfortable when I started to feel like I was moving but I wasn't I was laying still. I looked up and the blinds were moving a little bit. I really didn't think much of it and it didn't last more than a few seconds I just thought that I was being weird..... So fast forward to ten minutes ago when I took the phone downstairs to my mother-in-law and saw that there had been an earthquake in Wells Nevada and that it was felt all over in Utah. So I hadn't been imagining I was moving. I really was. Well that's the second earthquake that I have felt. The first was when I was in 9th grade and I was standing by my locker at school and felt the same feeling of moving but I wasn't and then I looked over at my locker and my door was shaking..... IT'S A REALLY WIERD EXPERIENCE....

Oh Those Rotten Stinkin' Treats!!!!

I think my husband has it in for me.....
He buys all these treats and brings them home for the "kids!" Liar!!! But then he forget's to take them to work and i'm stuck at home with them and hyperactive children. I told him on instant message today that he is sabbotaging my life with goodies. He thinks he's being a good dooby but he really isn't. He's just making me more overweight . Yucko!!! He told me he was sorry and that he won't do it again. Yeah right he won't untill next week that is. (So needless to say my commitment to eating more healthily this month is down the dang crapper.) I still love him. He really does mean well. (Honey next week bring me an over abundance of scrapbooking stuff that'll be a lot better.)

I pick through all the colors and take out only the red and pink and then I give the box to someone else becuse I don't like the other flavors. I'm the same way with skittles. I only like the orange and red. I guess it's an ocd thing. Not that i'm ocd. Just a little tit for tat.

We had been married for almost one year making us 20 and were living in midvale. We were about to be sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on our anniversary. I was working for the State of Utah and Chris was going to school full time and working for a pest control company.(yucky... he has some amazingly grody critter stories about that job.) Two funny things that happened in that apartment. We came home from a vacation and our whole entire walk in closet organizer had fallen out of the wall. When we were putting our washer and dryer in the closet and ran the washer for the first time and water flooded our apartment and we had to use all and I mean all of our brand new never been used towels that we got from our showers and wedding to clean the mess up.

5 Places I've Lived-

Well i'm one exciting person!!! (NOT) Sandy, Draper, Bluffdale, West Valley, Sugarhouse.

5 Things On My List Of Stuff To Do Today-

I hope that Chris' companies have made us okay enough to spend like three months of the year doing fun family things. I'll have a degree in something besides MOMOLOGY. ( so i hope i've gone back to school by then.) I hope we are still in our current home. (Plan on Dyin' Here) I hope that I have made new friends and kept the old. I hope i've done something good for humanity and I hope to be able to run in a marathon. I hope to have made a difference in someone's life that has been positive.

EEK It's A Wolf!!!

Okay so I married a warewolf..... You all didn't know that did ya? Well I know that it isn't Halloween or any thing but I just wanted to post this picture of us. Chris seriously love this holiday. So he'd pretty much go to any lengths to have a great costume.... This last year.... Me putting goat's hair on him with spirit gum, lots of make up, fake blood and ripped shirts. Boy it was a doozy. It was a great costume though. There is never a dull moment with him and I mean never.

He Did It!

I am so proud!!! Today after 16 months of being nursery Easty finally stayed all by himself. Chris and I got to enjoy each of our classes and then Sunday School alone. Wow! It's a miracle. I don't know why it happened but all I can say is thank you for the blessings today.

He Gave Me Flowers!!!!!

So on Thursday night my doorbell rang. I went to the door and no one was there. I looked out and couldn't see anything so I opened up the door and there were roses sitting on the front porch. I then knew who the culprit was.... My sweety! I said you can come out now and he jumped out and said I brought you home some flowers. So super super nice of him.

When we were first married I didn't like to get flowers because that meant money was spent on flowers instead of something in our budget...... THAT PHILOSOPHY WENT OUT THE WINDOW.(Thank Heaven's.) After I had told Chris that I didn't get flowers for a while. Now that we have been married for over a decade I can honestly say that flowers brighten up any day. I love them! Even if it's just one. What a sweet man to think of me.( I had to take some picture's. Iknow cheesy.)

Grandma Sorensen

Love you Grandma... I was just thinking about you today..... I wish I was in St.George with you..... Even though it snowed there this week too.

My Little Mess Maker.... And a Not Clean Fam. Rm

Supermarket Nightmare....

(THIS PIC. IS AN EXAMPLE OF THE MANY TIMES THIS HAS HAPPENED)
I hate going to the store with all of my kids. This is my preface for this story. Last week I decided that I would venture out with the kids after we got McKenna from school. We needed to go to three places.... Target, Costco and Albertson's. We made it through the first two places just great and then while we were at Albertson's it began. My kids have to see the lobster tank every time we walk in that place. No problems. Then we went to get the one and only thing we needed from there... Soda Pop. I loaded my cart chuck full with 10 12packs and took my kids to the check out. I hate that they have food and goodies there. Easton saw cheeto's. Even worse. He asked me for them I said no and the tantrum began. Then he decided to be mad at Hunter and started to hit and punch.... (yes punch) all the while I am trying to get the pop onto the counter becuase not one of them was the same kind. McKenna is trying to tell me what's going on play by play and then Easton got so mad that he took his coat off and threw it on the floor and started to really scream and get mad. The checker was a guy!.... Not that I have anything against guy checkers but they don't understand mom's at all. After what seemed to be thirty minutes he was paid and I lifted my baby boy and carried him out screaming and my other kids followed with mad expressions on their faces. Now the really funny thing about this is we were passing the small little bank stand on the way out and all three tellers were laughing hysterically at me, then we passed other customers who were laughing too. I guess I had to make someone's day funny..... Just not mine. When we finally got to the car I put the kids in and the pop and had to sit there for another twenty minutes while my screaming kid calmed himself down enough for me to buckle him in his seat belt. When it was all said and done he said and I qoute this verbatum because he has said it many many times after he's thrown a big fit....."That fun mommy. Let's go now. I done."
Oh what to do with life somedays. We roll with the punches and realize that kids will be kids and look at their sleeping little faces at night and remember why we had them and why we love 'em so much. I just need to remember I can't go alone with all three kids any more....... (Daddy can come with us next time.)

Holy Cow This Is an Oldie but a Goody!!!!

Wow, I was going through our pictures on photoshop and I cannot beleive I found this picture of Chris and I about a year after we got married. How young we were. I had bangs my whole life until about six months after McKenna was born. Should I have them again? NOTNOTNOT.... My hair is very very blonde. Chris has a ceasar cut.... (do you remember those? I do.) Oh The good old days. Too funny.

Backyard Sledding!!!!

My kids love to play!!! My house is a constant hustle and bustle of kids. I love it. I love that my kids have friends to play with. I love that on any given day we can have a bunch of kids at our house. I love that they have so much fun together. One day they all decided to go sledding out in the back yard and this is what happened..... I couldn't resist going out on the back porch and taking pictures of them getting along and having "snow" much fun.

My little "Guppies"

Jello Pudding Pops...Yummo

So this is nostalgia... I remeber being younger and having these yummy treats. We always got to have them at my grandma's house. These are something that I loved. So when I was at Walmart a couple of weeks ago I found them. Way cool. I didn't buy them then, but I did last night. They taste just as I remember them. The only change ... they are smaller or maybe I'm just bigger. Either way I still love 'em. So let's here it for J-E-L-L-O- my blast being a kid.

MY MOM-

So you are probably looking at this picture and thinking that must be my sister.... That's what we always get. Then when people find out that she's my mom they always say " your too young to be her mom." I just love her. She is one of my best friends and she is an amazing person. It's funny when I was younger Ididn't appreciate her as much. Now that i'm married and have kids I see her in a whole new light. She is happy and full of life. She loves my kids soooo much and not only that she still loves me after everything. So I am proud to call her MY MOM. She and I can laugh and cry together. We can sit quietly with out talking and we know what the other is thinking. She is a gentle giant among men. (women.) She is an inspiration to many and has touched a lot of peoples lives. I am glad she's mine.

SNOW

SSNnnOOOWWw

We woke up to what else snow!!!!!! Easton is my early bird. He get's up first every morning and brings me the container of Vitamins to give him one and that's how my day starts. With out fail this morning he got up and followed his morning ritual. (Don't ask me, he's kindof ocd. about having a vitamin everyday.)
We are having some friends and family over to watch the SuperBowl. That is the only pro-football game I watch during the year. (Boring.)
I'm gonna get struck by lightning for saying that. I can just feel it. It's just an excuse for us to get together with people and eat tons of junk..... ( I remember my promise to eat heathly this month. I'm just gonna cheat today.)

The Throbbing Knee-

I am seriously a really klutzy person. I am always falling, tripping, slipping and banging into things. I was trying to clean my house for tomorrow and I was climbing up onto the counter top when I missed swinging my knee on top of the counter and hit underneath..... Ouchhhhhhyyyyyy! It's like I have this thing for bruise karma. One goes away and another decides to take it's place. Now I have a huge bruise forming and my knee is throbbing. I think it's pretty funny. Maybe my karma can one day attract money or something else instead of bruises.

The Addiction to Blogging

So I decided to set the record straight on this blogging stuff. I guess this is going to be my way of journaling. (because I don't journal) Really really bad I know. So if you see a post or two every day you have been forwarned. I am doing this officially to "keep record." I usually have very little time to do this during the day, but I decided that spending 10 minutes a day is very worth while in the long run. Call me crazy or stupid, but at least i'm trying it out.

BE LOVING!

I just wanted to share a tidbit about the Heart. You might not know this or you might but Heart Disease is very dominant in my family. My Dad had his first heart attack when he was 34. My Grandpa has had bypass surgery and a pacemaker. My Grandma has had a pacemaker. One of my uncle's has had a heart attack also. Needless to say we have done studies and our family has been linked with genetic Heart Disease.

You think I would be more careful regarding what I put into my body food wise. But i'm not. So my goal for this next month is to eat heathier and exercise for at least thirty minutes a day and donate some of the money I would've spent on goodies and junkfood to the American Heart Association. It's my way of showing that I think that they have a great cause and I appreciate all the awareness that they present to benefit women and I want my family to know how important they are to me too. So maybe we all could go do something nice for ourselves or someone we love because February is a special month and we get the opportunity to show those we love just how much we really Love them.
