I'm just wondering if anybody else feels like they are hoarders after Christmas???? Holy cow. I am now going to attempt cleaning my children's rooms and getting rid of "old" toys to make room for new ones. If you don't see me at church on Sunday please come looking through the piles to find me.... HEE HEE HEE.
I decided that last month something must've put a fire under me to get a move on with some things because here I am one month after stopping my serious cherry cola habit and I feel no better, more anxious and not any more energy... but I am really craving exercise.... I know really weird for me. So that's a good thing.
I feel super excited because I've read a couple of new books in the last couple of days (for me that is) and they were super good.
I also just wanted to thank my loyal 6 fans.... YOU know who you are for reading this blog still. It's a great outlet for me at times. I have also been journaling and ldsjournal.org
It's free... I like it... It's free... I like it.... Oh by the way did I mention that it's free and you can print your book for a fair price up to 100 pages color photo's or non color photo's.
I did fail to mention a couple of post's back about another blog that I frequent that my good friend Annie and her sister do and that's NO FUSS FABULOUS.... You guessed it it's awesome.
Any way I'll leave now with the sentiments of the fact that this post was all over the place

Roof Surfing and the end of a billion posts from the las 3 weeks of our lives.
hubs put lights on our house this year.... I will not go into the Christmas light story about half way put up lights for years, but I basically told hubs that if he puts light up he has to do them all at once on one day and he better have enough. He complied this year and I went outside because Gus came in to tell me that one of the ladder's fell down and I needed to put it back up....
I could barely lift the dang thing and it actually fell through my head and landed on my shoulders. It was funny, but I wasn't laughing. Hubs couldn't help because he was on the roof. Finally, I was able to get it off my shoulders and put it up... Later I walked out to find my husband sitting on the steepest pitch of our roof so I had to take some pictures... He decided to stand up and surf! Whatev... the crazy! I love him for it though.
*************even though this is the first post I have just posted several entries from the past 3 weeks. Thanks if you are one of the people who keeps checking back here. We love ya!

My Mom's Surprise Party
We had a big surprise 50th for my mom at my house. It was awesome and turned out really great and she was even surprised which was a huge feat in itself. We had to lie to her for a couple of weeks and that was hard.
Lego's
This is what my boys like to do on the weekend when we are still a sleep early in the morning. Don't think we have them trained well to not wake us up.... because this lasts about 5 minutes and then the fighting begins. I just happen to have one lucky Saturday when I came to quiet building going on.
Sleeping kiddo...
Boo-Boo falls a sleep like this often on the weekends when we stay up late to watch movies... He wants to stay up, but this is how we find him 5 minutes into the movie... Usually!
Tree Decorating... Minus one
Sassy and Boo-Boo putting ornaments on the tree.
(If you have wondered why Gus isn't in many pictures at our house it's because he would rather eat worms than have his picture taken. I try to sneak as many in as possible, but sometimes it just doesn't work and he refuses.)
Jenny's 60th surprise party.
My Mother-in-law turned the big 60... WE CELEBRATED. She was surprised. All was good in the world for her that day.
Polar Express...
boo boo and I went on the polar express with the Thurbers.... (Thanks for winning tickets and inviting us along.) It was a lot of fun for boo boo once the train started to leave the station. I'm glad that he believes..... It was cute to see him so excited for Santa. My camera battery died and i wasn't prepared with my spare... So Aub's e-mailed me the pic's. of the boys with santa.
A program....
Gus had a program at school based on jazz music. It was super cute. He even had a dance partner. We didn't really get any super great shots of him because he was in the back row....... Don't mind the other heads in the way!

Gratitude....
This was on a sacrament program at a farewell we went to on Sunday...
" When we give thanks in all things, we see hardships and adversities in the context of the purpose of life... We are meant to learn and grow through opposition, through meeting our challenges, and through teaching others to do the same... the Lord will not only consecrate our affliction for our gain, but He will use them to bless the lives of countless others."
-Dallin H. Oaks
I am thankful for what I have been given in this life. Many people don't know even half of my story. That's okay. I don't know half of theirs. But I do know this there have been several hardships and several learning experiences. I have watched others go through things and I have learned from them. I have gone through things and hope I have been able to help someone else. I am grateful for the gift of my Father in Heaven sending help to me through living angels here on this earth who took the time to listen to a prompting to come to my rescue in some way.
I also read this....
"My brothers and sisters, we are surrounded by those in need of our attention, our encouragement, our support, our comforts, our kindness- be they family members, friends, acquaintances , or strangers. We are the Lord's hands here upon the earth, with the mandate to serve and to lift His children. He is dependent upon each of us."
-Thomas S. Monson
I feel really grateful and blessed this Thanksgiving for my family, my friends, the roof over my head, my husband having a job, the knowledge of God and the atonement of His Son, the opportunity to learn about new things, random acts of kindness towards me.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Have you seen UP???

We have... We rented it on Saturday night. I love this movie!!!! I cried like a little kid. One of my favorite parts is the scene about 10 minutes into the movie where they do the montage after they get married..... I love the jar they keep for their dream trip! We've done that and like them, we have had several times in our married life where we had to use the "Jar" for life happens moments. I wouldn't trade them though. They have helped us grow.

Weirdo Day....
So today has been a really weird day.....
First, I went to Target for Santa Clause and was told whilst purchasing the items that were marked clearly on sale that they weren't by the cashier and that they don't honor their online prices in the store either... I asked for a manager!!!! He told me he was too busy to go look at the price and to just give them to me for what I told her. After the rudeness I wish I would've said the item was a $1.00!
Second, I went to Costco to pick up an order that hubs went to pick up last night and the gal said wasn't there.... WHICH IT WAS!!!!! So a double trip there was lovely!!!! I won't go into detail about the lady that we've been dealing with in the photo center for the last year, but I will tell you this I have had really weird things happen with her and managers in the store are now involved.
Third, I went to Walmart also for Santa and was in the garden center because they usually put the large ticket items for kiddies in that spot during the holidays. I found what I needed and went to the check -out there and the girl who rang me up was super nice but...............................It was her second day cashiering by herself!!! After my purchases were wrung up I gave her some cash and she went to give me my change and was about to hand me back $173.00 of the money I had just handed her when I was only supposed to get back $12.41!!!! I told her that the amount she was handing back to me was wrong and she was getting mad that I would not take it. I explained why I wouldn't take it back and that it would probably cost her the job she just got if her till was that much money short. Then she tried to give it to me again because she didn't want to void the purchases!!!!! Holy Smokes! I said I would be more than happy to wait for her to get someone to come help her fix the problem. After 30 minutes it was finally solved and I went on my merry way.
I will tell you this ....... I have never ever had a cashier try to give me money like that. Especially over and over again. I have always tried to be very honest so I was really kind of shocked that the lady would rather give me the money than hit the VOID button. GO FIGURE ON THAT ONE!
Lastly, My Dang computer has had e-mail issues for a few weeks. I don't know what happened or even if we've fixed the problem, but spending 2 hours trying to send an e-mail is flippin' ridiculous.

a Wish!!
Have you ever wished for something to happen to you???? I have. I have also worked really hard towards making a wish become a reality and done my part.... So now I'm waiting patiently for the Lord to help me with the part that I cannot do myself.
I'm wishing and waiting... and working and wishing!
