The KEYS Please....
I hate keys!!!! They are no good. I feel like I need one of those janitor things on my pant loops so I don't lose them. Today as in almost everyday I couldn't find them. I was scrambling around the house getting really mad and asking every one to help me find them and low and behold Chris looks under all the coats on the coat rack to find my keys. (This is the designated "key spot.") I must have skimmed over them. Then not more than five minutes later they were gone again. In the mad dash for taking Sissy to school I couldn't find them. (Silly me they were right in front of my face.) It happens to the best of us.

Scuba Steve......
O.K. so what is this exactly? I am amazed that I still have feet. Since I have kids who like to leave toy's on the floor it's almost impossible for me to not get hurt almost daily by stepping on one of their toys. The majority of the time it's a Car, BatMan or some small object.
So here's the bit about Scuba Steve. In the Adam Sandler movie: "Big Daddy" he has a boy with him who he ends up adopting. This boy has a figurine called Scuba Steve. Adam proceeds to step on him at some point and say's: (Now this is a qoute so please excuse the language...) "Damn you Scuba Steve!!!"
This would be my life on an almost daily basis, but I try really hard not to say the swear word because little britches have bbbbbiiiiigggg ears!!!! Now I know if your a mom this has happened or will happen to you so just remember Scuba Steve and try not to get really mad at your kids after all they're just that....kids!

Babies...Babies...Babies....
So as most of you know our family is complete, but that doesn't mean that I don't miss things about having a baby around our home. For one, I love their smell. It's a great thing that my sister, one of my best friends and 2 of my cousins had little ones to avert me from wanting another. I get to hold them and love them and smell them and pass them back.... Now that's a good bargain don't you think.

A Whole Bag of CHIPS!!!!-(WOW)
So as the snow flurries pelted our little neck of the woods yesterday on my way taking "Gus" to school and made it a little ways up the road and realized after seeing 2 accidents and many cars struggling up the hill that I was going to turn around and come home. After being home for a half and hour the phone rang and school was being let out... so daddy went to pick up sissy and here is where the story begins.
Sissy got home and said she was hungry. After making the kids take a rest I let her and "gus" go up to my room to watch t.v. and she came down for a snack. That snack was a big bag of NACHO CHEESE DORITO'S. I told her to get a handful and bring them back down. That definately didn't happen. An hour later she came back down and the bag which had just been opened earlier in the morning for lunch making was almost empty.... That's right empty. She ate almost the whole bag. I know. I know... really bad eating a bag of chips. But the funniest thing about it was that she was still hungry. Might I remind you that she is a little bean pole with not a trace of fat on her slim little body what so ever. ( So I guess it went into her hollow leg and she needed to fill the other one up with something else.) So needless to say she got her feel for chips for the next little while.(Kids do the darndest things.)
On a much more serious note...
President Hinkley passed away on Sunday. My feelings are very mixed. A feeling of peace that our Church will go on just as intended and a feeling of sadness that such a great man is gone. He possessed more wisdom in his little finger than I could ever imagine in my life time. A man of simplicity yet with a spirituality of such greatness. He was truly called of God. I am amazed at the love he had for his beautiful wife and family. I am enthralled with the life he led and feel blessed to have been able to hear his words of great wisdom through out his time as prophet.

Too Fun!!!

This past couple of months have been so full of fun and love. In December we had several parties and of course Christmas. We went to Alvin and the Chipmunks, Sledding, to see lights Everywhere on our family nights and on New Years Eve we went to Erik and Janiel's home and had yummy food and played fun games which included Rock Band.
This last Monday it snowed 12 inches at our house and the boys played outside with Chris all day. While he snowblowed our driveway and a few others they played in the piles that he was making.
I can't believe how fast time flies by.
