Gratitude....

This was on a sacrament program at a farewell we went to on Sunday...
" When we give thanks in all things, we see hardships and adversities in the context of the purpose of life... We are meant to learn and grow through opposition, through meeting our challenges, and through teaching others to do the same... the Lord will not only consecrate our affliction for our gain, but He will use them to bless the lives of countless others."

I am thankful for what I have been given in this life. Many people don't know even half of my story. That's okay. I don't know half of theirs. But I do know this there have been several hardships and several learning experiences. I have watched others go through things and I have learned from them. I have gone through things and hope I have been able to help someone else. I am grateful for the gift of my Father in Heaven sending help to me through living angels here on this earth who took the time to listen to a prompting to come to my rescue in some way.

I feel really grateful and blessed this Thanksgiving for my family, my friends, the roof over my head, my husband having a job, the knowledge of God and the atonement of His Son, the opportunity to learn about new things, random acts of kindness towards me.
