Things.

Well things have been busy around here. We've had the last week of school 3 weeks ago and due to virus on the comp. I cannot upload all the pictures, but here are a few. Sassy had a Daddy Daughter party for achievement day's with a 50's theme. Sassy looked like Lucille Ball. She was a beauty. We had a preschool program that was darling and little boo isn't so little. HE stood at least a head taller than all the other kids in his class. The Giant! Gus dressed up as a cowboy for international dress day. All I can say is YEEEHAW.
So there that is in a nut shell.
Life at our home has been very chaotic. I feel like i'm always behind on something. My house looks like a tornado swept through it. I have had several laundry set backs as our washer is going to die any second and unfortunately we can't buy a new one at this time so I'm praying it'll go a little bit longer. Hubs fell down yesterday and messed up his ankle. We are thinking it's just a bad sprain.
***Boo Boo asked us a funny question again on Sunday in the car. He asked us if Jesus drove a car? He must be thinking a lot about Heavenly Father and Jesus right now. He also said that it was "inapropriate" to say bad words and that it made Heavenly Father bery bery sad.
I'm thinking about so many things right now that I'm going to fry my brain, but I guess it's better than the nut house. Don't you agree?

Boo funnies!!!

Boo has said two really cute things this week:
We went to South Towne Mall and he saw the merry go 'round and said:
"Can I go on the micacle round?"
Second, Hub's cousin was over and in the most serious face boo said to her:" Do you know Jesus?" She said:"Yes, do you?" He said: "Yep, he's my friend!" and rode his scooter away.
(No pictures still..... I have an evil virus on my external hard drive..... NOT GOOD.)

Pictures and Being OUTED!

So apologies that no pictures are with this post... (I like to see picture's in posts.) Okay so I have lot's to post about , but issues with loading my pictures at this time. It's been a fun, eventful last few weeks and all I can say is that I'm glad that school is finally out... (For the moment.) Yes, I am one of "Those" Mother's who enjoys having kids at school. My kids brains are way toooo smart for my pea sized one so therefore during the summer months I am: Out smarted, out witted, out numbered and just plain old outed by my own off spring. So I do enjoy the fact that they go to school and use their smart genius brains on something other than ME! I do love having them home too though. They make me laugh until my sides hurt, play until I fall down, bake cookies for all, sing and dance, watch movies and play in the water all for the sake of just BECAUSE. Who wouldn't want to do that!

Blink and It's GONE!

Where did this school year go??? I have always been amazed at the end of the school year to realize that my babies got bigger right before my eyes. I don't look at them as getting bigger. They are still my babies. I was holding Gus the other night a very rare occassion now (Never Happens Any More... He's Not Into That!) remembering when he was a baby and how cuddly he was. He didn't let me leave him alone with anybody to be babysat until he was a lot of months old. He used to nuzzle into the crook of my neck and I would lean over and smell the yummy baby smell that he permiated. Oh how I miss that time sooo much. Each of my kids have such great aspects about them. They each are so unique and it's fun to see what another year culminates into. What new things they learn and how they impact themselves and others. So here's to another year BLINKED!

Grandma S Turns 85

Mom's Mom, Grandma E turned 85 a couple of weeks ago. She is a special lady who collects dolls, has 8 kids and bunches and bunched of grandkids and great grandkids. It was fun to get a 4 generation picture with her and my sassy and mom. She has some fun little toys to play with and my kids love them. It was especially fun to see them pull out things that I played with when I was little. I remember being younger and smelling the beautiful flowers she had. I also remember playing with the snap dragons. She is also the master canner. Her and my Mom would can peaches and I loved to watch.

Run Run Run as fast as you can!!!!

My kids school has one fundraiser a year.... A fun run!
Let me just say it was FUN!
We went to help and watch and run with our munchkins. Yes folks I did run a little bit and I actually didn't die!!!!
Thanks to all those who donated we really appreciate your support. Both my kids were real troopers and ran for at least part of the walk. Each of their names were picked in the drawing for prizes.
Gus got a new skateboard and helmet in the grand prize drawings and Sassy got a gem and some gift certificates.
Our school raised over
$16,000.00 for the playgrounds.
