The boo-mister in action.

My little life is never boring.... I laugh almost daily at the little anticdotes that my baby throws at me..... If I only had his little worries. He seems to find the most silly things amazing. Like a cup of dirty water from painting turns into paint for the tires on his jeep , the fact that his googles turn into spy glasses, the angelic way he sneaks the sugar, his facination with becoming a dad to a kid named "Truck"and how he thinks that Santa lives at our church. Just a few examples.
I don't know..... what I wouldn't give for a glimpse into his mind right now.

Life Is.....

While watching the movie " Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium" with my children Mr. M says this....
LIFE IS AN OcCaSsIoN.... RISE TO It!!!
I seriously love this quote so much. What a great motto to live by.
I think we often go through the day to day grind and forget that we have a purpose and we are each meant to do great things. Have we taken the time to rise or are we just coasting along the little road we call life???
Just a thought.

Monday Madness!!!

This is all free after Rebate..... this weeks RiteAid ad has over $140.00 in free after rebate items. I purchased the items that we would use , so my freebies were $58.00
I just thought today I'd share my rebates for RiteAid*
and give a few shopping/coupon tips and places.
I am all about free as you know. I am also about frugality. I'm not the expert that many of the people in my family are but... here are a few of the things I've learned.
It's my responsiblity as a Mother and Wife to find the best for my family. That however doesn't mean that it has to be the cheapest products.... I just find a way to use a coupon, rebate or wait out that product to clearance.
*I am not afraid to ever use a coupon.
*I almost never pay full price for my crafting products:
I always use a coupon or go through the clearance section, or go to warehouse sells for scrapbook companies.
* I never pass up the clearance sections at any store.... I don't care that it might be last season's. If it's a core article of clothing then why not?
* I always always buy my neighbor Christmas gifts the year before when Christmas stuff is clearanced up to 90% off. ( This Exludes and Food Items.)
* I am not afraid to send in or sign up online for rebates and wait for a rebate check. (now at Walgreen's and Riteaid they are sent within 3 weeks.
*I am always on the look out for cheap but really fun gifting ideas.... I go to target and walmart at the end of summer when they are clearancing out Toys to get ready for Christmas stock... Same with after Christmas. These places have fun things for stocking stuffers that you could use as a Birthday gift as long as it's not Christmas oriented.
* I am not afraid to use an opportunity to take my family somewhere for free.... We went to the aquarium in Sandy last new years eve day for freeeee. We got freeee hot dogs, freeeee face painting and freeeeee kids barn bounce passes, freeeeeee spins on a wheel of toys and free entrance into the aquarium.
(There are places all over that offer little or no cost entrance to their attractions during some point in the year...... We wait until it's that time to go.)
* We get a FREEEE redbox rental code almost every week for a movie.
*We usually wait to go to movies until they're at the dollar movie.... Even with a drink and popcorn it's only $10.00 That's a cheap fun date.
* I like buy one get one free coupons too.
(It's a great way to try foods or go on dates.)
Great places to look at if you're interested in couponing.....

It was fun to bond with women in my neighborhood and be able to get to know each other a little bit more. There are some really talented people who live here.... Thanks so much for the invite and the hard work. Wow!!!

Our Menu Consisted Of:
Tortured Brain with Vomit Dip ( Fruit Kabob's & Marshmellow Goodness)

Ghoulish Eyeballs (Deviled Eggs)
Pimple Salad ( Salad with poppyseed dressing and Cream cheese stuffed tomatoes)

Thanks For All The Fun Ladies.

Flash Back Friday...( Haven't Done This FOORRREEEVVVEEER!

So when Sassy was about 16 months old we had quite the experience at our home in the middle of the night. We were renting at the time and lived in a duplex with my Mo-In-Law living on the other side of us. It was about 2 A.M. and we heard a really loud crash and then the sound of what we thought was someone running up the stairs and out our back door.... My heart was pounding and Chris jumped out of our bed soooo fast and grabbed Sassy out of her bed from the other bedroom and brought her to me and told me to run to his Mom's house and call 911while he checked it out. So I did as told....The next thing we know the S.W.A.T. Team pulls up and they had dogs, full army gear, night vision goggles... and Big honkin' guns.... I mean Huge!!!! I was terrified for the bugger that broke in 'cause he was in huge doo doo. They checked our house and said the only thing they found was that a drawer had been pulled out and tons of utencils were on the floor in the kitchen... I proceeded to tell them that was just our baby playing earlier in the night. I still laugh about that. The real kicker to the whole story is this.........
THE NEXT MORNING WE CHECKED OUR HOUSE. NO INTRUDER TRIED TO GET IN. IT WAS JUST A POT IN OUR LINEN CLOSET THAT HAD FALLEN DOWN AND HIT EACH SHELF AS IT WENT DOWN..... HENCE THE SOUND OF SOMEONE GOING UP THE STAIRS.
heee heee heee NOT SOOO FUNNY AT THE TIME, BUT AT LEAST I KNOW THE POLICE MEAN SERIOUS BUSINESS WHEN THERE IS A CALL TO 911 FOR AN INTRUDER EVEN IF IT ENDS UP BEING A POT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT AND LET ME TELL YOU I FELT PROTECTED BY HUBS. HE WAS A BRAVE SOUL.

Inch By Inch....

So I get E-Mails from this company called Simple Truths. http://simpletruths@news.simpletruths.com They sell motivational books and such. I actually have the book "The Dash" from there. The guy who owns the company is named Mac Anderson....This is just a thought I got this morning!!! I think it's my new motto....
"Inch By INCH, LIFE'S A CINCH.
YARD BY YARD, LIFE IS HARD."
I think I've been living the yard by yard lately instead of the inch by inch.
He's Tells This Story:
"When I was a freshman in college I learned an unforgettable lesson.
I was having a rough week when there was a lot to do and very little time to do it. I was overwhelmed. I panicked.
That night a friend stopped by my dorm room. When I told him my problem, he said, “Mac, I'll share something with you that my grandmother told me a few years ago. She said to always remember: ‘Inch by inch, life's a cinch. Yard by yard, life is hard.’”
I said, “Bob, come on. Here I am drowning in work and your lifeline is a quote from your grandmother. Come on!”
After he left, however, those twelve little words kept dancing in my head. I took out a piece of notebook paper and listed all the things I had to do in the next three days. That night I began knocking them off one by one.
Three days later I took out that paper and marked through the last thing on the list. It felt great! And then I took out another piece of paper and wrote down the words: “Inch by inch, life's a cinch. Yard by yard, life is hard.” I then folded the paper and put it in my wallet. As many of you know, I've been collecting quotes ever since.
You see, success doesn't come cascading like Niagara Falls; it comes one drop at a time through short-term, realistic goals.
Experts on motivation disagree on a lot of things, but one thing they all agree on is that your levels of motivation are directly tied to your expected probabilities of success. In other words, if you believe you can do something (the goals are realistic), you're likely to be highly motivated. If, however, you think you can't (because the goals are unrealistic) your motivation level falls greatly.
The lesson here is to continue to dream big dreams, but realize that the short-term goals that take you to the next plateau are the real keys to success."

Funny Boy!!!, Beauty SOLD!!! Conference...

Conversing with Boo-Boo:
Boo: " Mommy when I go on my mission can I take a Toy?
Me: " What toy?"
Boo: "My Bob- The-Builder?"
Me: Sure
Now here's the funnies part.... He went into how well I've trained him so far....
"When I get home from my mission after I go school and I get married in the temple and I'm a daddy I gonna have a kid and his name is gonna be TRUCK. I feed him dinner and it will be Peanuts and Suckers"... (Circus Peanuts)
MMMMM Nutritious!!!!
Oh I love Him soooo Much!!!

**** By The Way Our Little White Trash Honkey Tonkin' Trailer Sold The Day After We Listed It For What We Asked For... (It Was Meant To Be.)

I absolutely loved General Conference.
I loved Joseph B. Worthlins Talk, I loved Russell M. Neilson's Talk, I loved President Monson's Several Talks. I loved that it seemed centered around being positive, gratitude and thankfulness. I've been really negative over the past several months and I think I needed to be put in my place by those lovely Men and Women who lead our church.
I feel such a renewal and energy for being more positive and actually for the last couple of months my goal has been to focus more on the positive aspects of my life and write them down. I have really been paying more attention but I haven't written the several experiences that I've had down... I need to do that.

Reunite!!!

So after many years this group of gals got together. We were a big group.
( Only one girl is missing. )
In high school this group of us all hung out and we were in the same ward. We went through a lot of stuff together. I won't go into the fun, sad, happy, scary, uplifting, whimsical details of the time our lives entertwined with each other but I will say this... We had an amazing experience as friends. We stayed pretty close until we got married and started to have children and then life just happened and most of us have gone our seperate ways. So it was kind of shocking when we decided to have a gathering at Flat Iron Park yesterday. We all have such different lives now, but it was good to see every one and all of our little kiddo's got the chance to play and interact. between all 9 of us we have: 19 kids and one on the way. ( and no it's not me expecting)
So here's to what the future holds for each of us....
Let's hope it's a bucket of fun, love and excitement.

A Beauty For Sale.....HEEE HEEE HEEE!!!

I will say this I'm not fond of this beast for it's looks, but at least it's kept us warm for the past six years... and it works like a champ. It has a heater, sleeps 6, stove and lights.
Hubs did decide to sell it.
So in all it's glory if you'd like to purchase this lovely trailer it can be
yours for the low low price of
$1,000.00
It's a RoadRunner 71 additon.
(I personally love the orange, yellow and red stripes. They add character don't you think?)
