We went to the Draper Temple Open-House today with our family and some extended family. What a beautiful temple. I can't wait to go do a session there soon! We had some really great conversations with our kids about the Temple and how we live our lives so that we can go there. Easton was Grandma P's buddy for the tour and he wanted to sit by her when we had our cookies and water after. To keep him occupied we had him count the pictures of the Savior. He'd get to six and then start over. Tonight we asked him what his favorite part of today was and he said the "hot bath place" or as we call it the baptismal font and then the cookies with Grandma.
Gus also liked the baptismal font the best and Sassy loved the brides room, the celestial room and the sealing room.
It was such a neat, peaceful experience for us! I'll just leave it at that.
