We got the results of Boo's E.E.G. and they found abnormalities on his left temporal side of his brain in both his sleep and awake periods. Our pediatrician told us that 90% of the time abnormalities are located in that spot something is there causing the problem. So we were referred to a pediatric neurologist and took Boo back up to Primary's the next day, on the 23rd. They made sure that his motor skills are developing like the should be and that he could do some simple things like shapes and colors. He had some blood work and an E.K.G. that day. The doctor told me that the 3 seizure's that he had previously are the kind where little kids can't catch their breathe, But the abnormalities on his E.E.G. are consistent with seizures that occur with a seizure disorder. Because we've never seen him have a seizure other than provoked by being hurt we don't know if he's having them in his sleep or not. The doctor told us we'd need an M.R.I. to see what's causing the problems (we're hoping that there is something small) and gave us some precautions to use in case he does have a seizure in the interim.
His M.R.I. is scheduled for Friday, January 9th.

I hope everything goes good for your little boy, how scary! I know our kids are so important to us, that when they are hurt its so hard to not be able to do something to help. Thank goodness for prayers, they help us through tough times, as you know!
