This Says It All SASSY!!!

So Sass just thinks that well she know's all about life. We are finding out that she is very very type A personality (okay who are we kiddin' we've known since her birth) All I can say is watch out world 'cause she's coming full force and there's no stopping her. Just a quick story. I did her hair in a messy bun on Saturday. We went to a charity basketball game and she was bumped by her brother and suddenly she was panicked about her dang hair do for the rest of the game. She kept asking me if her hair was a mess..... (Here we go I'm not ready for this yet.) So considering that she's so cute , I think I'll get over it. Another story. Chris and I were able to go to her Achivement Days Activity on Wednesday with her. We saw the Joseph Smith Movie. Chris and I have seen it not Sass. She was actually quite scared and then she said she almost cried when he had to have surgery on his leg. I looked over at her during a "Scary" part and she had her face tucked into her legs. Try explaining the advisary to a little girl. It was a very interesting experience for us. Hopefully she won't be too scared the next time she see's it. I was amazed at how tender her little heart was.
Maybe I'll learn a lesson or 1,000 by the time she's 18. Who knows maybe I won't be in the looney bin by then. (She's full of so many surprises.) Here's to Sass....Love you!

Should I Wake Them?

So it is 11:15 AM. and 2 of my kiddos are sleeping soundly still. Okay so this has like never ever happened in the history of my Motherhood. I got up 20 minutes ago. What a lovely little day of sleeping in. We were out kind of late but heavens not 'till the middle of the night. So I've thought and thought about it should I go wake them??? NAH, I'll let them sleep a little bit longer.

OuR ToWn DaYs!!!

We had a fun weekend. (Walking a side.) We had our City Town Days so on Friday the kids were in a Parade. I was so proud of them. They rode their bikes a long long ways. We got snowcones and walked around the booths and let the kids play in a huge sand pile. Saturday we had quite a day. Daddy took the kids fishing in the afternoon and that night we went to the city park for the fireworks. There were hardly any people there so we had a great spot and got out of there fast.

Oh the Joys of Exercise!!!

So those of you who know me know this...... During High School I was very active and involved in many a sports. Running being my absolute favorite. I was a skinny girl hiding behind clothes that were too big and very afraid to wear fitted clothing. After High School I worked really hard at being skinny, looking cute and started to wear more than just mascara. Fast forward a few years. I had a little girl who was almost two and was in really really awesome shape and went to the gym everyday..... a few more years 2 more kids several attempts at losing weight and more important getting into shape this is my story of today. I decided that I would go walking. If you've walked with me you know that I walk pretty fast. I however, haven't gone walking for over a year. I decided I would run for a couple of blocks and then walk the mile I needed to. I made it running for a block. I then spent the rest of my mile wheezing and breathing so heavily I sounded like Darthvader. I walked into our house and I let out some noise and my husband started laughing hysterically. Then my little guy asked me why my skin was all red? I sat down and thought I was going to die!!! Chris still laughing. We were talking and I proceeded to tell my son that I was really hot and that I also couldn't breathe. Chris laughed even more. (Hubs is in amazing shape and works out at the gym every day... Go figure he'd laugh. What a Butt.) I too started to laugh . How funny a sight I must have been. All I can say is this: Hey At Least I'm Trying Here Darthvader breathing and all. I will be back one day I will!!!

IcEcReam...... Then I Scream!!!!!

Your Ice Cream Personality:
You like to think of yourself as a fairly modest person. And it's true that you don't talk yourself up... but you're also pretty happy with who you are.

You have a wild reputation, but you're not as wild as you seem. You take risks, but only measured risks.

You are a somewhat open minded person, but deep down you're fairly conservative. You don't like trying new things very much. And if you do find something new you like, you stick with it.

You are a natural multitasker. You feel alive when you're doing more than one thing at a time.

You are fun loving and sweet. You tend to enjoy joking around and teasing people.

Then Here Is I Scream......
As you can guess Summer for me is all about doing nothing but being outside, breaking up fights, feeding a gazillion kids and not doing a dang thing in my home until kids are in bed a sleep. There seems to be some aura around kids about summer. They think that it's all right to have free reign!!!! This Mom is going mad and it's only been a week. What to do? Well I think all Mom's should have a national holiday called Insane Mom's Day Off. We can go as wacko as our kids and do whatever we choose to do with out anybody stopping us. Wouldn't it be sweet. I'm game if anybody else is.

KiDaR!

My Kids Have IT!! It Is: Kid Radar or what I like to call KiDaR. All Moms go through this. It goes down like this...you are in a rush you need to hurry and get ready and hurry and get the kid lings ready and get to where your supposed to be.... ON TIME then they get it. It starts somewhere from their belly buttons I guess these little antenna pop out and the radar button goes nutso. (I just made that up) They look at you like what are you doing I don't need to rush and we certainly don't need to go where you intended. Then it hits them. They suddenly go into T.V. Slow motion and start to throw fits, scream that they need you and pull on your leg at every available opportunity. (It's always when your trying to do your mascara.) They have a melt down that their Lego's keep falling over. Their clothes aren't what they wanted to wear. Their hair isn't what they had in mind. They can't get the quadruple knot out of their Superman Cape. (The knot wasn't placed there by Mommy either.) They can't find a shoe. They can't find their favorite motorcycle. We finally make it to the car get all settled and buckled in to have a kid say I have to go potty. Then you run inside and run back out and get all settled once again to drive away only to realize that you don't have a purse or a wallet or some important item needed when you get where you are going. So once again you turn around after being a couple of blocks closer to your destination to pick that item up. You finally get in the car and make it to where you are going and your 15 minutes late!!!!
This occurrence happens to me at least twice a week . I fully prepare myself and think that I'll have plenty of time to be some where and this some how always happens.
So this is what I say to KiDaR!!!
-You suck! Go away and don't come back.

More FlOwErS!!!

Here are a few more pictures of the flowers... (Are You Sick Of Them Yet?) Sorry, I'm not. I love that I can walk out of my house and smell the lovely's at night. It's one of my favorite things to remember about the summer.
