Deer Hunt....

Hub's got a 3 point this morning!!!

Erik fishing.

So hubs has been gone since Tuesday night and Just got home. Yahoooeeee!!! My week has been very interesting to say the least. Hub's got his deer this morning. Every year he has an experience with a bear. This year there were bear hunters too and the bear hunters brought dogs with them. Hubs camp could could hear the bears being chased by the dogs, but luckily he didn't have to army crawl away from one this time. ( A Story For Another Day.)

So here's the beauty of his hunt. He took some really great pictures of the leaves.

Believe In Yourself!!!

I read this today out of Stand A Little Taller: Counsel and Inspiration For Each Day Of The Year
President Gordon B. Hinkley
Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.
Hebrews 10:35
***
Believe in yourself. Believe in yourself as a child of God. Believe in your capacity to do good in the world, to spread light and truth and understaning; to reach out to those in distress and need to help and bless them.
***
I really needed this. I feel so inadequate most of the time.
Like a person sitting in the back- ground observing.
Today I'll be a bit more brave.
I won't be so scared.
I'll reach a little bit farther
and I'll have a little bit more faith in the fact that I can accomplish what I want to do.

I will only say this...

I don't have my camera this week because I've lent it to someone so I have no pictures of our decor.... but I
LOVE HALLOWEEN!
{NO IT'S NOT TOO EARLY TO DECORATE FOR HALLOWEEN}
It's my favorite Holiday. Horay for decorations.
I love that my kids get excited for my favorite time of year.
We probably have gone overboard through out the years, but I really don't care because we've a massed some great stuff. It's not scary because are little kiddo's aren't at the place where we can go that route yet.

I love the changing leaves, cool weather and rain. I love being able to cozy up in a blankie, drink hot cider and read good books. I love the smell of fall. I love remembering football games past and going to the occasion football game now and then. The only place I'll ever eat a hot dog is in a Football Stadium. The smell of them is different some how in a stadium. (I never ever eat hot dogs. They make me deathly ill.)
I love the sight of all the beautiful colors in the mountains. I love that the night starts earlier. I love the candy, pumkin cookies and pumpkin dump cake. I love the parties and the laughter.
Maybe I was named Autumn for a reason. Who knew?

Face Book and A Fun Tag...

Okay so my Bro-In-Law Erik asked me if we had a facebook account yesterday???? I said no I've heard of it but hadn't checked it out. Well hence we now have a facebook account and we have found a bazillion people that we know on it. How fun it's been finding tons of people from our high school stomping grounds, wards and neighborhoods.... So then my friend Kimberly has a tag on her blog called :
High School
****She didn't tag me but I thought I'd play along and if any body else wants to join in have at it.
Here we go:

High School: I went to 2. Granite my sophomore year and Brighton my junior and senior years soooooo go BeNgAlS!
1. Did you date someone from your high school: Yes, I dated a couple of guys from high school.
Jared W. my sophomore year.
Not a dang soul my junior year
and
Scott M. my senior year.
I met Hubs in high school but we didn't figure out we were meant to be for a long time.

2. What kind of car did you drive? : I had no car and my Dad didn't let me drive his very often so I was a moocher from my friends. (Thanks Guys.) So I didn't buy a car until after high school.
3. What is your most embarrassing moment in high school? I've had a few and I won't go into detail but they all include falling!!!! (yes you all know I'm still a klutz.)
4. Were you a party animal? No, but I had a ton of fun.
6. Were you in band, orchestra, or choir?: Yes, A'capella
7. Were you a nerd? : I was just a regular kid who had all kinds of different groups of friends.
8. Were you on any varsity teams? : Yes, At Granite I was on Varsity Track and I lettered. I played Basketball there too, but was on J.V. (My husband teases me that I was only the manager all the time, but I wasn't.)
9. Did you get suspended/expelled? : Close, Lettie and I got in big trouble by the vice Principal for sluffing .... Long story but we were in kind of deep doo-doo with Seminary Council and
Bro. Murdock. It all worked out though.
10. Can you still sing the fight song? : I can sing Granite's and Brighton's was very slow when we went there so I didn't learn it all. (I'm lame)
11. Who were your favorite teachers? : Mr. Waldron, Ms. Jacklin, Mr. Gillen
(Use your Yankee ingenuity. I absolutely loved history)
12. Where did you sit during lunch?: I went to lunch at Granite and at Brighton I sat with a ton of different people and we went to TacoBell a lot too.
13. School Mascot?Granite Farmers & Brighton Bengals.
14. Did you go to homecoming and with who?: Yes...
Sophomore: Allan W.
Junior: Nope
Senior: Marti P.
15. If you could go back and do it again, would you? Yes and No. Yes because I would've been into looking more like a cute girl instead of a granola and studying way more.... No, because some of my most awkward moments in life happened in High School.
(learning who and what you are with a ton of other teenagers all over again... no thanks.)
16. What do you remember most about graduation?: It was rained out and it was really fast. We had a fun party at Cottonwood Heights Rec. Center too. Breakfast the morning after the party and parents who let me stay out for 2 days straight. A vacation with a bunch of girls and a trip to Hawaii as a gift from Grandpa and Grandma S.
17. Where did you go senior skip day?: I don't think we had one and if we did, I don't remember.
18. Were you in any clubs? : Track N' Field, Basketball and A'Capella.
19. Have you gained weight since then?: Got really twiggy for about 7 years and Now after 3 kiddo's not a skinny girl any more. (I'm working on that again though.) Babies deform our bodies what can I say..... It's worth it completely though!!!!
20. Who was your prom date?:
Sophomore year : Jake... Didn't have fun and really wanted to go home.
Junior Year: Nope
Senior Year: Scott M. (I'll never forget his boutineer falling of on the second story balcony of the Capitol Building and laughing about it.)
21. Are you planning on going to your 10 year reunion?: Went to it and the 5 year.... don't know about all the rest, but probably yes because my husband is the social butterfly in our household and we graduated the same year and class from Brighton and he know's everybody!!!
(We don't go any where with out running into someone he know's.)
22. Looking back, what advice would you give yourself?: Do better in school. Live for the moment and not worry so much about "When you grow up". Not be sooo shy and wear make-up and date a ton of guys and don't worry what others think of you because you'll turn out to be just what you always wanted to be and you'll be just fine!!!

TatyBug's Wedding

My little Sis got married on Thursday and let me just say wow!!! It was really beautiful. She was really beautiful and my Step Dad Rockey said this : " Congratulations Dave!!! you've just won the e-ticket to the ride of your life....." It was sooooo funny. Her photographer is very amazing. I can't wait to see the pictures that he took and even though I can't even come close to what he does I still snapped a few pictures and here they are. Family Pictures!!!

So we took some family pictures at a local feed store or I should say behind a local feed store. My cousin lacie was kind enough to take the ones of our family , Chris and I and Sassy and I. Then I took the rest. Let me just say that I love to take pictures .... Just not of my own bunch. The boys were having melt downs and wanting to only play on the train cars. We got some really fun pictures though. Thanks again Lacie.... Next time I won't swear so much I promise.

Buzzzzzyyyy Bennett's.

So I'm feeling overwhelmed with everything going on in my home and life right now. I am working part time, hence I'm working from home and working at wards. This week I have my Little Sissy's Wedding Rehersal Dinner at my home on Wed., I work on Wed. too, I have "Weeding" (work lingo)to do, on Thursday my Sissy gets married, then work on Friday and Saturday.... No rest for the weary right???? I have 2 seconds to do this little post and then i'm going back to work and back to cleaning up. I have kids to help with homework and reading too. I might just say a word or two about the load of work my kids do. I feel like i'm in school again and doing home work for 21/2 hours sometimes sucks buckets. We also need to throw dance and baseball into the mix of stuff and this is one busy week we have. How do I get myself into this kind of stuff.... Oh yeah right I forgot.
I SIGNED UP FOR IT.
( And Boo boo decided that Sassy's fishies needed half a container of fish food. hope they live another day.)
******************** Oh and by the way we went back to let "all" read our blog because we have family and friends who have been asking us why they can't get on our blog and they don't have access to it by invite sooo here we go trying again. Hopefully no weirdo's this time.

My FuuuuuN Birthday!!

Hubs took me to Park City to celebrate my birthday on Saturday. I had to work on my day so we went up saturday afternoon with Ron & Kim and Erik & Janiel. I've never gone down the Alpine Slide, Roller Coaster or Zip Line so that's what we did. We seriously had sooo much fun and we got to go on the Roller Coaster 2 times and The Zip Line for free. I seriously laughed so hard on Saturday on several different occasions I almost wet my pants from how much fun I was having. Thanks for all the laughs, good food, cake and gifts. It was a great day late celebration.
