So I have this totally unfathomable addiction to pop!!! I'll admit it. I know a lot of you secretly do too. I absolutely love Cherry Coke and if it's not available I choose Dr. Pepper. I have had long periods of time when pop wasn't even in my daily agenda and times when caffeine was a huge no no and I avoided it like the plague. No so much any more. I love that refreshing first gulp of the yummy goodness it offers. Not to mention the little wake me up I receive and it's received every day unfortunately. So now you know why I can't run worth a darn any more and why my darn muffin top hasn't disappeared yet. So maybe one day soon I'll give it up .... Yeah I know Dad I'm not going to forget we have a year to train for that half marathon and I will be there come Hell or high water. So you'd better too.

Oh sis...what I wouldn't give for a Dr. Pepper!!! It's been so long!!! I'm afraid if I had one I'd never stop. Love ya!!

Okay, girlfriend, here's a little motivation for you. This is courtesy of the nutrionist at MD Diets in SLC. She said carbonation binds fat in your body's cells, therefore making it virtually impossible to lose weight. Even diet sodas do that, and they also confuse your brain and your liver--it ends up spending all its time processing chemicals instead of fat. So here's your motivation! Detox yourself and I promise you will feel a ton better (and find energy you never thought you had once you get rid of the sugar) after about a week! Just lookin' out for you!
I know Noriane has your best interests at heart and actually she is right but I'm here to say...I'm totally with you! After listening to whining, tantrum throwing kids and cleaning up potty training accidents all day...there's nothing better than an ice cold D.P. to calm the nerves! :)
